Andy: always working out, busy at work, not in scouts anymore :(, coaching baseball, and trying to keep all the rest of us happy. Its a BIG job, but someone has to do it.
Jenae: loves the gym still, excited kids are back in school, glad this summer is over. We had a lot of "sick bugs" this summer and I'm glad they're gone (knock on wood). Long story short: Jack had pneumonia, all us girls had stomach flu for a week, we all caught another stomach flu on the way to Lake Powell and shared with at least 19 members of immediate family..... you're welcome! Read Gone with the Wind. Probably one of my favorites and I think they should remake this movie. Who should be Rhett? I want your input. I also just read Color Code and I think if I say one more time "how red of you" to Andy he might ban me from book club.
William: played basketball this summer as a Piston and was a bit younger this season. Will loves to golf with his uncles, grandpas and dad and made some clutch putts this year! He tried water skiing for the first time, likes getting thrown off the banana and is getting closer on the knee board. Will loved Spotlight this year and thought Lake Powell was AWESOME! (He wrote this to his missionary uncle who replied that he's a punk for rubbing in the fact that he can't be there). Will also discovered tennis in Midway and hits it quite well. Will had a great summer doing sports class at the gym, taking swim lessons, and hanging with friends at the pool.
Siena: is now 6! She celebrated with a few friends and got their nails done and then had some frozen yogert. The day of her birthday was spent at Lake Powell, again, where she wasn't feeling all that great. Siena loves the water, had to be coaxed onto the banana but remembered she likes it. She wasn't found once at Spotlight, golfed nine holes with mom, enjoyed shopping for school clothes, and keeps asking when we can watch more Olympics. Siena is becoming a great reader and loves to do anything with school supplies. She likes zumba, yoga and swimming lessons, where she was doing the dolphin stroke :)
Jocelyn: asks everyday if we're going to the gym. She loves to do anything big sister Siena is doing. They play house and Josie is a good sport and lets Siena boss her around most the time. Jocelyn liked swimming lessons except for the last week when they switched teachers on her and she joined Siena's class. (As a former swim instructor this was quite pride swallowing seeing MY child be "that kid" kicking and screaming that she would NOT get in the water. And I have these moments almost daily). Josie was forced to try the banana and cried the entire time. Her vocabulary is growing, but still has a french mumble that mostly mommy understands. Jocelyn can be very two at times, but has a sweet little voice that makes you melt.
Jack, Jack: Is a busy man. He jibber jabbers and he knows exactly what he's saying. He's much too fast on all fours and doesn't show a ton of interest in walking. He recovered from pneumonia, got his weight back up and is no longer on steroids (the nebulizer for three months straight was so much fun!) Jack didn't come to Lake Powell (big thanks to Attridges), but had a great time in Midway swimming, eating, shopping and being the big cousin. Jack loves balls and will crawl right through the middle of big kids playing basketball to get what he wants. He has a contagious giggle, beautiful blond hair, loves to help mom with the dishes and tolerates us messing with his naps like a champ.
